Big shoes to fill!

Gunnar is growing up so fast! But when he puts on his daddy's shoes it becomes very clear he's still got quite a ways to go. Which makes me feel a whole lot better! I can't imagine my life without him. I never want to let him go:)

I'm enjoying my little garden so much! I've never had a garden in my entire life. I'm so excited that I can actually grow something!

Happy Birthday to me! Yesterday was my birthday and I turned 28. Although I know that 28 isn't old by any means I just can't help but feel a little sad. I've always loved and anticipated my birthday and this new emotion that has crept up on me about my birthday has caught me a little off guard. Enough about that though. Everyone came over and we partied. I got a bike and buggy from Josh and Gunnar. And I'm excited to get out and get a little exercise. Thank you to everyone for coming and for your sweet cards and thoughtful gifts! I'm so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life:)

Trampoline bliss

We took advantage of the nice weather on Sunday and let the kids jump on the tramp. Gunnar loves to jump and jump and jump... I think he wore Xander out. Either that or Xander got sick of stumbling around and falling. He's still getting the hang of the whole jumping thing. My sister Michelle and I almost busted our guts laughing so hard! Xander is hilarious!!! He would lose his balance and try to run it off and would totally biff it. He looked like a little drunk running around. It's one of those things you just had to see to appreciate:)

Steak is delicious!

My nephew Shane turned 23... for all of you who don't already know I was an aunt before the age of one. I am only like ten months older than my nephew Jesse. Shane is Jesse's younger brother. So anyways... Shane's birthday was on march 12th and to celebrate we all went to Outback Steakhouse. I love a good prime rib:) My sis Brea is in town from Cedar with her fam and so they came too! The more the marrier! I love my family. There really never is a dull moment! Happy Birthday Shane!

Building blocks with Grandpa Z

I just love that Gunnar has the best Grandparents. I just had to capture this precious moment:) Both of Gunnar's Grandpas are always running, running,running trying to make a living for their families. But they both still take the time to spend quality time with their Grand kids. Hurray for Grandpas!!!

Okay, so... I know every parent thinks their kid is the cutest. But come on...Does it get any cuter than this?

And it is a good thing he is so cute! I don't know if he would have survived this long. It's that cute little mug that keeps me from losing control when he's being naughty:)

Like for instance the day we went and got these pics taken. He was being such a stinker. There were a few melt downs from him and myself. My friend Crystal who took the pics was amazing with him though and managed to get some really cute pics! I was shocked! I left her house thinking how embarrassing. My kid is out of control! Ha, ha...like his mom!:)

On Feb 22,09 We finally got to see Celine! Her concert was canceled in Nov because of strained vocals but she finally graced us with her Rockin presence this blessed day:)

Candice and I sang our hearts out along with Celine. We were so sad when it ended. Although I don't the people around us minded not having to hear us sing anymore...Hee,hee:)

Happy 2nd Birthday Gunnar!

We all went to the clearfield aquatic center to celebrate Gunnar's 2nd birthday! Gunnar loves going down the slides especially the big one. In fact he'll just say slide over and over again until you take him down and then it just starts all over again.

We LOVE our little boy so much! He is the light of our lives. We look forward to watching him grow and grow. Although if you ask me it's happening way to fast!

All Seven Starkey siblings together again!!!

So that next week My Grandpa passed away. Jay's clan came back to town from Idaho along with Brea and her fam from cedar city and Ben and Yuki from LA for the services. All seven Starkey siblings together again!!! It had been a long time since that had happened.

Ben, Yuki, Michelle, Josh, and I went to Benihana's for some yum, yum sushi. Josh and I got the all you could eat sushi and got our moneys worth!!

The clan's in town

My Grandpa Starkey was in the hospital on life support and heading down hill...so my brother Jay and his clan came in town from Idaho to say their goodbyes.

We all congregated at my house along with my sis Sherie and most of her family. Michelle, Ben P, Mom and Dad were there also. We ate and played games and had a blast!
