Before Halloween I put Gunnar in his costume and told him he was Bambam. He got a kick out of trying to hit me with his club! He's such an angel... Ha,ha:)

We stopped by Angie and Rick's house so Grandma Dee could see Gunnar in his costume. Deena made yummy chili and delicious cupcakes and we just couldn't pass them up! Yabadabadoo!

Here is Gunnar getting ready to head out and go trick or treating. I was surprised at how fast he caught on to the whole concept. But then again candy was involved:) After he chose his piece of candy he would stick it in his bag and say thank you in sign language and people kept thinking he was blowing them kisses. It was funny. We all had such a great time. And the neighborhood got a kick out of our costumes.

Halloween Birthday Party

Fall fun!

Gunnar and I at Gardener Village. They were having a little festival during the day. There was face painting and craft projects for the kids to do. This was the best picture of the whole event. Gunnar was being a stinker and every other pic he was either crying or whining. Lets just say it was along day. I'm sure my friends were glad to be rid of us:)
Me, Jill, Heidi.
My friend Jill and her family came into town from California. We all went to the harvest festival in Syracuse were we all used to live and where we first met. They took us on a hay less hay ride to pick out a pumpkin. They had a huge court yard with a bonfire, huge slides, a play area for the kids, and a corn maze. We had a blast! We ended the evening at Crispy cream... need I say more:)

The kids climbed up in the pumpkins and we just had to take a picture.

The BIG 101

My Great Grandpa Ernie celebrated his 101st birthday on Oct 5th. My Mom organized a special dinner for him and we all got to enjoy his special day with him. He lives with my mom and dad. Although he is practically deaf he's in great health and will probably live atleast another five years. He spends most of his time to himself. He reads anything he can get his hands on. He also gives us a great laugh once in a while... like talking in the middle of a prayer cause he can't hear that one is being said:)
